I've decided to merge all of my current music projects into one album, which is currently called "Landscapes".
This may seem like an odd move based on the projects as they were before:
- Forgotten Past - experimental
- Landscapes - orchestral / movie music
- Classic Case of Chaos - dance
How do those go together? Well, something like this:
- The Sounds of Time
- Blanket of Snow
- Forgotten Past
- Silent Shore
- The Spiral Staircase
- Sunwatching
- Deviance
- Dry Ice
- Moonsurfing
- Bobsleigh
- Climbing the Peak
- Pipes of the Hills
- Catacombs
- Listen for the mountains
- Invisible in the Shadows
- Stepping Stones
- The Dark Room
- Starlining
- Oceanic Galaxy
- Into the atmosphere
As usual, this is very likely to change, but I think it's going to be easier to get one album finished than to have three in varying stages of completion.
There are new versions of some of the tracks coming soon, and I'll organise the downloads in the correct order soon.

This is the fourth track on my dance-oriented album, Classic Case of Chaos. The new track,
Bobsleigh, is very fast. Comments are welcome!

The first two tracks were already on last.fm, but I've since removed all of my unfinished albums from last.fm as it's a pain to re-upload when I change things around.
So here are the first three tracks from
Classic Case of Chaos, my dance-themed album.
Enjoy!!

Lauren has made the front cover image for my fifth album,
Forgotten Past. You can see this image on the right-hand side.
My
Music home page has also changed a bit. The
Music Blog now appears at the top of the page, and I've removed the image (it didn't really need to have one). Soon, I'll be giving you a way to subscribe to my music blog so you can keep up with it more easily.
I've also updated two tracks and uploaded one new track.
The Sounds of Time is now a combination of the original track with the reprise (track 7) on the end. It's now just over 5 minutes in length. After listening to the album a few times it made more sense to merge the two tracks into one, rather than splitting them up.
I've extended
Deviance based on Lauren's feedback. She thought it was too short and ended a bit abruptly. The new version sounds much more complete to me.
As
The Sounds of Time (Reprise) is no longer needed as a standalone track, I've replaced it with a new track, entitled
Pipes of the Hills. This is a track title I have been holding onto for a few years, and now I finally have a use for it. This album is certainly living up to its (rather loose) concept - breathing new life into old ideas.
The Spiral Staircase is another title I used on this album that had been in my mind for some time.
There is more to come.
Climbing the Peak,
Catacombs,
Invisible in the Shadows and
Stepping Stones are all likely to be updated further, as I'm not entirely happy with them yet.
Overall though, I've started to enjoy this album more in the last few weeks. This is also the first time since
A World Beyond that the front cover has been finished before the music.
Forgotten Past (the track) was recorded during those sessions back in 2005. Even the cover for this album was taken at the same place as the cover for that first album.
I'll have more news soon.
