< Weekly round-up #3 - Highlighting the week gone by : Majestic 1.5 - Introducing the free version... >
Today I'd like to reiterate the importance of organising your site every once in a while. Have a read of that post to see what I mean.To show I practise what I preach, have a look at the latest changes to my Tutorials section. In particular, look at the links under "Subareas":
- The basics of running a site
- Choosing a system
- Writing great content
- Building your reputation
- Networking with other sites
- Quick Tips
- Top 77 Blogging Mistakes
Sometimes it's good to catch your breath.
I often mention that I write blogging and website tips on a daily basis, and I've been trying to do this since I refocused my personal blog in late November 2007.However, even if you manage to write great content every single day, even the most dedicated readers will have days when they can't commit to checking in - so the entries start to pile up. Also, with new readers joining every week, it seems logical to showcase some of my best posts by organising them into a guide.
This isn't going to be a weekly thing, though. Most of the time I'll just tell you about changes to the Tutorials section in my weekly round-up. This time, I just decided to do it separately.
Let me know what you think of the reorganised content, and please feel free to comment on the older posts if you wish. Many of them have very few comments so it would be good to get some feedback on them. Thanks for reading my site!

Good post, how about another one for advanced bloggers?
Cheers~
Great post! I have to agree, I will usually space my longer posts out by 2 or 3 day's. I get a lot more hits that way.
Arnold - thanks for the support, glad you like it.
SiteHoppers - welcome aboard. The tutorials section is a work in progress, and I may add some advanced tutorials at a later date. If you have any specific suggestions for posts you'd like to see here, let me know.
Jamey - welcome aboard. Thanks for the feedback. I will just have to see what works for my site - it varies a lot from one site to the next.
Thanks for the comments. :)

First of all I think this way of re-organizing content is a great idea. Not only is it a handy list of all the necessary links all at one place (easy to catch up if you have missed something in the past), but it should also help to keep readers going deeper into the site and thus help a bit with that never-ending problem of bounce rate. Great as usual Ben.
