This week has been different in a number of ways:

1. Instead of writing several unrelated posts, I wrote a five-part series: The Organised Approach to Websites.
2. I put the first part on my home page and put the other parts in my Blogging Guide, instead of starting with them on the home page and moving them to the guide later.  Subscribers would still see the new posts as I put them online.
3. I spent some time looking for images or taking photos of my own to include in the five-part series.
4. I contacted some of my readers to provide feedback for part 5 of the guide.
   

I don't plan to do a five-part series every week, but I do already have an idea for another series that I can write in the future.  Also, I am now following the approach I suggest in part 1 for my own blog entries (except for the weekly round-up).

As I have now moved part 1 into the Blogging Guide, if you click on the above link you'll be able to find the other parts.  I know this is a lot to read in one sitting, which is why I suggest subscribing if you'd like to keep up with my latest posts in future.  Most of my posts will continue to appear on my home page, but subscribers will see a few extra posts.

• 27 thoughts on blogging for the artist (Problogger) - Lots of things to think about if you're an artistic blogger.  As I write music and I have a music blog, this is a very useful post for me.
• Commented On (Tech News Source) - Keep track and follow up on your comments.  I haven't tried it yet but it sounds like a pretty good idea to me.

Majestic News

This week we released Majestic 1.5.4, which includes drafts and an experimental version of our WordPress migration script.
