< Weekly round-up - May 2008, part 2 :
This week I published three new beginners' guides: one for each of Technorati, Feedburner, and FTP.I also looked at building a discussions section, and started a couple of new discussions: do you practise what you preach, and when should you display your subscriber count - if ever?
I also revisited my jargon buster post with a brief entry about what ping means.
Tip of the week: Don't forget why you started your blog. Always stay focused on what you are writing about. That's why I wrote three beginners' guides this week.
Majestic News
Today we released Majestic 1.5.7. Also, Majestic was the subject of a post over at Sueblimely - thanks, Sue!Posts I enjoyed this week
- Can you still call yourself the owner of your blog? (Blog Tipz) - This is an interesting post that looks at the problem of blogs who have more posts from guest writers than from the owner.
- How to ensure working from home is not boring (Jamie Harrop) - Some good idea to think about if you currently work from home or you're thinking about making the move.
- Extending album art (disassociated.com) - Some very clever "extensions" of well-known album covers.
