The Path of No Return

You said it yourself - short simple and very dramatic. This is by far your most realistic piece as well.

You know my gripe is just that I wish it was longer.

This has a simple melody, but a good harmonic arrangement. I like it. It might have been nice if for a short moment the strings took over the overall theme, to make them create some kind of dialogue with the piano. Still, I think it's really good, though I get the feeling that there is even more potential in it that has not been quite tapped.
