We're moving on

< Patterns in the Night : All is not what it seems >

What's the last thing you did
when faced with a choice
to go forth
or go back?

And did you feel the motion
that carried you further
than you ever
could realise?

What's the first thing you did
when we landed that night,
was it quick
did you stall?

And will you see the difference
when faced with the facts
did you know
we're moving on?

There wasn't a whole lot of choice involved with the big one, but I am still coming to terms with the repercussions.

Great poem. What's to go back to? For better, for worse, life is like an inside-out treadmill.
